Our Mission
Connecting Families with Hope
From the beginning, Worship & Word has been built around a single purpose: to connect families with hope through the power of Jesus Christ. This mission continues to guide everything we do—every message preached, every class taught, and every prayer lifted. The people who gather here are united not by background or preference, but by a shared need for something greater than ourselves: the anchor of hope.
Led by Hope. Built by Faith
Worship & Word began in 2005 when Pastor Stacey Wiley took the pastorate of a small congregation in Peoria, Arizona. With just 38 people in attendance, he cast a vision centered on connecting families with hope. Week after week, that vision grew—and so did the church. Today, Worship & Word includes four campuses across the Phoenix metro area, each one preaching the same gospel and creating space for people to encounter God.
Servant-Hearted Leadership Across Every Campus
Worship & Word is led by a team of committed, Spirit-filled leaders who serve in prayer, planning, teaching, and care. Each campus is supported by individuals who are passionate about ministry and devoted to the people they serve. Their combined efforts reflect a shared vision and a unified purpose: to reach every heart with the message of hope.
